These old women at my work cackle when they laugh... does that mean they're witches? Should I be scared?

Spiritually speaking, how can I protect myself? I am an atheist but am still scared they might throw me in their witches stew...I'd ume they'd hunt Christians since Christians hunted them once but you never know the agenda of a witch.
